Oh, the fan isn't too loud. You can hear it slightly, but it's not like, "Oh my god, it's annoying." Exactly what I needed and works perfectly.

I had abdominal surgery, needed a lap desk to keep my cats from climbing on me during recovery. Better than pictured. Can be used anywhere or for food, etc. They all wanted one and wanted to decorate same for their own styles.

My only negative is that I wish I could adjust the height for ergonomic reasons.

The surface is slick, so my laptop slides around, and the legs don't lock into position.

The table part feels sturdy and solid enough to hold most items you'd have in bed with you.
